The two books that I'm going to review here, are the works of Indonesian children's writer. A wonderful collaboration between Soffie Rosdiana (the author) and Dina Riyanti (the illustrator)

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
A very nice story with wonderful illustration.
Wuli always gets
angry. She couldn't control her anger. Whenever she's angry, all her
friends are scared and run away from her. Nobody wants to be her friend.
One
day Wuli gets so angry when a soccer ball hits her and drops her ice
cream. After all of her friends gone, she runs to the river, and look at
her own face. She DOES looks scary.
Wuli tried to smile, but it
is so hard, because she never does. After a while, Wuli manages herself
to smile, and she promises that whe would be a friendly girl.
But on the way home she sees naughty kids throwing rocks at a poor little dog.
Uh, oh...! What should Wuli does? She promises herself already to control her anger. But she feels sorry for the dog.
A fresh and beautiful book suitable for children.

Rambut messy

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Messy is a cute and funny girl. But she hates her hair. It's so messy.
Her friends tease her about it and that makes her sad. She hates her hair more and more because of that.
But
one day, when she walks home, a wind blows and turns everything upside
down. When the blowing over, Messy looks at people around her and starts
laughing.
Everyone look at her and ask her why does she laugh so hard. She giggles and points to everyone's hair.
"You all have the same messy hair as mine!"
Everything would be all right if we face troubles with smile and laugh.
A very nice story for children.
